Good Bad Ugly

Good Bad Ugly (also known by the initialism GBU) is a 2025 Indian Tamil-language action comedy film directed by Adhik Ravichandran and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, marking their first production in Tamil cinema. The film stars Ajith Kumar, alongside Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Das, Sunil, Prabhu, Prasanna, Karthikeya Dev, Priya Prakash Varrier, Jackie Shroff, Shine Tom Chacko, Tinnu Anand, B. S. Avinash and Raghu Ram. It is about a retired gangster who returns to his violent ways after his son is wrongfully convicted.

Presented by T-Series, the film was announced in late 2023 under the working title AK63. Principal photography commenced in May, followed by a schedule in Spain, and wrapped by early December. G. V. Prakash composed the soundtrack, with cinematography by Abinandhan Ramanujam and editing by Vijay Velukutty.

Plot

In 2008, in Mumbai, AK alias "The Red Dragon", a notorious crime boss, voluntarily surrenders to reunite with his family. Years later, after release, his son Vihaan is falsely accused, and AK is forced to reenter the criminal world to protect him.

A web of conspiracies involving the Dark Wolves gang, betrayal, and hidden motives unravels as AK hunts the real culprits, leading to an explosive finale.

In the end, AK redeems his family, defeats the villains, and brings justice to his son, but not without sacrifices along the way.
